Jenny Agutter is a British actress. After starting her career as a child artist, Agutter went on to establish herself as a popular actress, winning an Emmy Award for her performance in the 1971 TV film The Snow Goose. Apart from being an actress, Jenny Agutter also supports various charitable causes for which she was appointed OBE in 2012.

Best known for her iconic portrayal of Peter Pan on Broadway, actor Cathy Rigby was initially a talented gymnast, too. A 2-time Olympian, she became the first female athlete from the US to win a world gymnastics medal. She also struggled with eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia.

Kamla Persad-Bissessar is a Trinidadian and Tobagonian politician who served as the prime minister of Trinidad and Tobago from 2010 to 2015. Kamla is Trinidad and Tobago's first female prime minister, leader of the opposition, and attorney general. In 2011, she was named the world's 13th most influential female leader by Time magazine.

British author Hilary Mantel initially studied law at LSU and then concentrated on her writing career after moving to Botswana with her geologist husband. Her Booker Prize-winning novels, Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies, later catapulted her to fame. She divorced and remarried her husband later.

Remembered as the most popular member of the disco/reggae band Boney M, Liz Mitchell was born in Jamaica but moved to London at age 11. She also worked with the German cast of Hair and was part of the German pop group Les Humphries Singers. She later became a born-again Christian.

Author Diana Gabaldon, daughter of Arizona senator Tony Gabaldon, is best known for her Outlander novel series, which has also been adapted into a TV series. Gabaldon has also authored the Lord John series. She is known for mingling several genres, including historical fiction, mystery, science fiction, and romance.
