Norwegian actress-film director Liv Ullmann is counted among the greatest European actresses. John Howard is an Australian former politician who served serving as the prime minister of Australia from 11 March 1996 to 3 December 2007. He is the second-longest-serving Australian prime minister, behind Sir Robert Menzies. As the prime minister, John Howard enforced new gun laws after the Port Arthur massacre of 1996. His tenure as PM has inspired several books.

Joe Clark is a Canadian statesman, businessman, and politician. In 1979, he became the youngest person to be elected as the prime minister of Canada and served in this position until 1980. Joseph D. Pistone is a former FBI agent who worked undercover from 1976 to 1981, as Donnie Brasco. He spied on the Bonanno and the Colombo crime families of New York City, leading to many convictions. His 1988 memoir was later adapted into the Al Pacino-starrer film Donnie Brasco.

Bob Irwin, better known to the world as the father of legendary Australian conservationist Steve Irwin, is a conservationist in his own right. Initially a plumber, he later built the Beerwah Reptile Park, which later became Australia Zoo. Following Steve’s death, he cut all ties with the zoo.

Lola Van Wagenen is an American historian who is credited with co-founding non-profit educational organizations like Consumer Action Now (CAN) and Clio Visualizing History, Inc. Consumer Action Now went on to establish several environmental education and consumer-oriented programs in an attempt to raise awareness about the effects of consumers' buying habits on the environment.

David Souter was the associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court from 1990 to 2009. He has also been a prosecutor, the attorney general of New Hampshire, and the associate justice of both the Superior Court and Supreme Court of New Hampshire. He now judges at the circuit court level.
