Hélène Cixous is a professor, poet, playwright, rhetorician, literary critic, philosopher, and French feminist writer. She is best known for writing an article titled The Laugh of the Medusa, which earned her popularity and established her as a thinker in post-structural feminism.

English film-actress and producer Barbara Steele is best-known for starring in notable Italian gothic-horror films of the 1960s including Black Sunday and The Horrible Dr. Hichcock and earning repute as Queen of All Scream Queens and Britain's first lady of horror. She also thrived as a producer winning a Primetime Emmy Award for the American television miniseries War and Remembrance.

American retired actress Lynn Carlin is best-known for her Academy Award nominated debut role in John Cassavetes written-directed American drama film Faces. The Oscar nomination marked Carlin, a secretary-turned-actress, as the first nonprofessional who earned nomination for this prestigious award. Other notable roles of Carlin include in the films Taking Off and Deathdream; and in television drama-series James at 15.    

Raquel Olmedo is a Cuban-born Mexican actress who achieved popularity during the last few years of Mexican cinema's Golden Age. She is best known for her portrayal of Doña Ramona González in the telenovela Abismo de pasión, which earned her the TVyNovelas Award. In 1984, Olmedo was inducted into the Paseo de las Luminarias for her television work.
