Canadian actor Katheryn Winnick is best known for her multiple award-nominated performance as Lagertha in Vikings. Fans also loved her as Hannah Burley in Bones and as Christine "C.G." Gavin in Wu Assassins. She has guest-starred in numerous projects and has also appeared in many short films.

Her work has also inspired fellow musicians like Dua Lipa and Bridgit Mendler. Also a philanthropist, Furtado is a member of Artists Against Racism charity.

The son of famous Canadian actors, Shirley Douglas and Donald Sutherland, Kiefer Sutherland followed in his parents' footsteps to become a famous actor. He has also been named in Rolling Stone magazine's list of 100 Greatest Singers of All Time.

Canadian singer and The Band member Rick Danko initially performed as a rhythm guitarist and bassist for The Hawks. Part of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Danko struggled with drug addiction and was once even arrested in Japan for smuggling drugs. He died in his sleep after a performance.

Ben Johnson is a Canadian retired sprinter who was adjudged the world's fastest man during the 1987–88 season after he broke the 60m and 100m indoor world records. He is best known for his performance in the 1984 Olympic Games, where he won two bronze medals. Ben Johnson also won a gold medal at the 1985 World Indoor Championships.

Laurie Holden is an American-Canadian model, actress, and producer. She is best known for her portrayal of Andrea in the popular horror television series The Walking Dead, for which she received the 2012 Satellite Award and 2013 Saturn Award. Also known for her human rights activism and charity work, Laurie Holden works closely with organizations that campaign against human trafficking.

Donovan Bailey is a retired Jamaican-Canadian sprinter. He once held the world record for the 100 meters and is considered the greatest Canadian sprinter of all time. Noted for his top speed, he became the first Canadian to legally break the 10-second barrier in the 100 meters. In 2004,  he was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame.

Pin-up girl Estella Warren had been a Canadian swimming champion before she was scouted by an agent and sent to New York. An international model who has topped Maxim’s Hot 100 Women of 2000 list, Warren has also appeared in films such as Planet of the Apes.

Best known for her Grammy-winning and Billboard-charting single Black Velvet, written in memory of Elvis Presley, Alannah Myles is the daughter of legendary Canadian broadcaster William Douglas Byles. Apart from being an actress, Steen is also an animal rights supporter and environmentalist. A multi-talented personality, Jessica Steen is adept at fire-twirling and stilt-walking. She is also a certified diver.

Burton Cummings is a Canadian musician and singer-songwriter. He was the frontman of the rock band The Guess Who from 1966 to 1975. He also enjoyed a highly successful solo career and has been cited as one of the most influential performers in Canadian rock music. He was named an officer of the Order of Canada, in 2009. 

Best known as Reuben Kincaid from the musical sitcom The Partridge Family, Canadian-born American actor Dave Madden later also gained fame as Earl Hicks in Alice. Once part of the US Air Force, he had also served in Libya, where he once performed a magic show for Idris, the Libyan ruler.

At age 12, Craig Kielburger and his brother read about a child laborer of his age who was murdered in Pakistan for protesting against child labor in his country, and the duo immediately stepped into action. Their organization Free the Children led to the formation of the WE Movement.

Brooke Nevin is a Canadian actress known for her portrayal of Rachel in the Canadian-American TV series, Animorphs. She is also known for playing Sonja Lester in Call Me Fitz, for which she received a couple of Gemini Award nominations. Nevin also has a Daytime Emmy Award nomination and a Young Artist Award nomination under her belt.

Canadian neurologist, educator, scientist, astronaut and photographer Roberta Bondar CC OOnt FRCPC FRSC is noted as the first female astronaut and the first neurologist of Canada to travel into space. She flew as part of the Space Shuttle Discovery mission STS-42 and performed over forty experiments in Spacelab. She later served as head of an international team of researchers at NASA.

Canadian baseball player and coach Ferguson Jenkins has played for MLB teams such as the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox. He also excelled in basketball and hockey and was part of the Canadian amateur hockey league. He also became the first Canadian to be name to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Shauna Robertson is a Canadian film producer best known for her association with American filmmaker Judd Apatow. From 1999 to 2008, Robertson produced several movies for Apatow Productions, including films like The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Superbad. She is often cited as the reason for including nudity in many of Apatow's films.

Former baseball player Larry Walker had a 17-year stint with the MLB, playing for teams such as the Montreal Expos and the St. Louis Cardinals. The Baseball Hall of Fame inductee wanted to pursue hockey initially but chose baseball instead after failing to make it to a top hockey team.

Briar Nolet is a Canadian actress and dancer. She is best known for her portrayal of Richelle in a teen drama series titled The Next Step. Briar Nolet achieved international fame in 2019, when she took part in the third season of the popular American reality television series, World of Dance.
