The Sierra Leone-born artist initially made drawings at medical museums and later used her knowledge of human anatomy in her art.
Nigerian doctor and prince Orisadipe Obasa, M.D. is noted for co-founding the People's Union association to promote welfare of the residents of Lagos city, and for playing an important role in the politics of the city during first decades of the 20th century. He was nominated to the Nigerian Legislative Council in 1921. There he remained involved on different committees.
