Donnie Yen is a Hong Kong martial artist, actor, stuntman, action choreographer, director, and producer. He has won several wushu tournaments and is credited for introducing mixed martial arts to mainstream Asian cinema. He is also credited with introducing UFC champion Zhang Weili to MMA. Donnie Yen has won several awards like Hong Kong Film Awards and Golden Horse Awards.

I. M. Pei was a Chinese-American architect who drew inspiration from the garden villas at Suzhou when he was young. He is credited with founding I. M. Pei & Associates, an independent design firm, in 1955. Today, the award-winning firm is known by the name, Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. Pei is known for designing structures like the Mesa Laboratory.

Bolo Yeung is a Hong Kong retired competitive bodybuilder and martial arts film actor. He is best known for his performance in popular films like Enter the Dragon and Bloodsport. He has also played lead roles in films like Ironheart, which is regarded as a cult classic. As a bodybuilder, Yeung held the Mr. Hong Kong title for ten years.  

Chinese-Australian YouTuber Wengie has earned a phenomenally huge fan base on YouTube with her DIY, beauty, fashion, and prank videos. She has also experimented with music, releasing tracks such as Baby Believe Me. She also manages a channel that is exclusively dedicated to content related to her two cats. 

Chinese table tennis player Fan Zhendong currently holds the number one position in men’s singles. In a personal statement on his fan forum on Sina Weibo, he mentioned how he hates extreme fan reactions. In 2012, he was the youngest member of the Chinese national table tennis team.

Retired badminton player Xie Xingfang is a former singles number one and a two-time world champion. She has won countless medals, including an Olympic silver, an Asian Games gold, and a World Cup gold. She was also known for her high-profile relationship with badminton sensation Lin Dan.

Hong Xiuquan was a Hakka Chinese revolutionary best remembered for leading the Taiping Rebellion against the much-feared and powerful Qing Dynasty. Credited with establishing the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, Hong Xiuquan later served as an inspiration to the Communists under Mao Zedong. In 1959, China established a small museum to honor his legacy.  

A long time champion of Hong Kong’s prodemocracy movement, Jimmy Lai is also an established entrepreneur, founder of clothing retailer Giordano, media company Next Digital and popular newspaper Apple Daily. A prominent critic of Chinese Communist Party, he became the first high-profile figure to be charged under the new national security law and eventually sentenced to additional fourteen months' imprisonment.

Singapore-based-Chinese actor Qi Yuwu, a contracted artiste under Beijing Enlight Media Group, is best-known for starring in several television drama series. These include the MediaCorp Channel 8 aired drama series The Dream Makers and The Dream Makers II, both of which earned him Best Actor award at Star Awards. He also received All-Time Favourite Artiste award at Star Awards 2016.

Olympic team gold medalist Chinese gymnast Yang Yilin was once accused of competing underage and thus faced disqualification, but later investigations couldn’t find any flaws with her age certificates. She is also an Asian Games champion, a World Championship silver medalist, and a 3-time National Games silver medalist.
