At the age of eight, Aimee Osbourne appeared in documentaries about her father, including 'God Bless Ozzy Osbourne'. She also appeared on an American radio talk show called 'The Howard Stern Show', hosted by Howard Stern, in 1998. But her presence was first noticed in MTV’s 2003 adaptation of 'Wuthering Heights', Emily Bronte's only novel. She starred alongside Katherine Heigl ('Grey's Anatomy' fame), Erika Christensen ('Parenthood' fame) and Mike Vogel ('Bates Motel' fame). She also provided voice-over in 'Postman Pat: The Movie', a 2014 3D computer animated film, based on the television series of the same name.

Her career as a recording artist started around 2010 when she released music under the name 'ARO' (her initials). Her first two albums were 'The Float' and 'Dr Watson’s Magic Pocketwatch'. Her genre is the synthesizer pop, very different from that of her father. In 2015, she released her single 'Raining Gold', which was a major hit. Her music reflects the tough times she faced in her life. Her next song 'Cocaine Style' was released a year later, but was not that well received. In 2017, she released her album ‘ARO – ep’.

Aimee Rachel Osbourne was born on September 2, 1983, in London, England, to Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. Ozzy, also known as 'The Prince of Darkness', is a prominent vocalist, songwriter and actor, while Sharon is a media personality and businesswoman. Aimee is the oldest of three siblings, while Kelly was born in 1984 and Jack in 1985. The latter two received fame after their appearances on the reality series 'The Osbournes', which aired on MTV from 2002 to 2005. Aimee Osbourne declined the offer to appear on the reality show as she was uncomfortable with the idea of compromising her privacy. It led to her leaving her parents’ home at the age of 16. Earlier, she lived with her parents and siblings, frequently travelling between the English countryside and America's West Coast. But after leaving home, she faced a dark period of loneliness, relationship issues, depression and uncertainty.

Over the last few years, Aimee’s relationship with her parents has improved, but she still does not share a good bond with her siblings. Her father wrote a ballad dedicated to her titled "Aimee". Her parents divorced in 2016. Her mother has been diagnosed with cancer and brother with multiple sclerosis. Aimee is the step-sister of Jessica and Louis Osbourne, Ozzy's children from his first marriage with Thelma Riley. Thelma's adopted son Elliot is her half-sibling as well. She also has an adopted brother called Robert Marcato. Don Arden, a famous producer, was her maternal grandfather. Aimee is not married but was in a relationship with Rai Thistlewayte for a year between 2004 and 2005. She lives a very private life so little is known about her. She now lives in Los Angeles.
