Alex Griswold joined Twitter in September 2015 and made his first post on Instagram on November 29, 2016. He first got recognition on TikTok in 2020 after he started posting funny videos during the Covid-19 lockdown. He made wholesome content with his wife Melinda, which became very popular quickly, earning him over 1 million fans within months. The couple refers to themselves as “internet parents” and often makes parent-themed content on TikTok for their “adopted children”, a.k.a. fans. While he had created his YouTube channel in June 2014, he started uploading on it in April 2021 and mostly re-uploads his TikTok videos on the platform. His TikTok profile got verified in early 2022.

In 2019, Alex Griswold posted a video on TikTok in which his wife Melinda could be seen rubbing his shirtless back. Shortly after, he received messages from two of his followers who told him that a couple of the moles on his back looked cancerous and encouraged him to seek professional help. He took the advice seriously and was shocked to learn from the dermatologist that the moles were in fact skin cancer. He got those removed and made another post in 2020 to update his followers that because of two kind strangers, he was able to avoid the deadly disease. He further added that the incident was “the perfect reminder that the world is a wonderful place”. He later told Jam Press that since the incident, he had another mole removed as a precaution and started taking regular checkups every six months. Moreover, he was more careful when spending time in the sun and much more conscious of wearing sunscreen. Apart from giving a positive message on the internet, his ordeal, which was widely covered by leading news outlets, also helped several people who informed him that they had their moles removed after watching his video.

Alex Griswold was a Keyboard/Synth player for Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale between January 2014 and August 2018. He also served as a musical director for Cross Community Church at Deerfield Beach in Florida from July 2015 to December 2016. Alex, who previously worked at a local open-air photobooth company, decided to start his own photobooth business in college by creating a native iOS and MacOS software called ‘Mobilepic’, which was the first app on the platform to allow texting, printing, and connecting to an external camera, in November 2016. He also designed an open-air photobooth specifically for using with the software in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area, but the business was not making enough money to even pay rent. Following graduation, he applied to big tech companies in San Francisco, but got rejected. Since October 2018, he has been working as an iOS developer for the AI financial planner app ‘Clerkie’ in San Francisco, California.

Alex Griswold was born on July 24, 1996 in the United States. He wanted to be like Walt Disney since he was four and often set up chairs at home to host “fairs”. He attended Florida Atlantic University during 2014-18 and obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Science.

Alex Griswold dated fellow high school student Melinda for nine months before breaking up in 2013. They met each other again at a Christmas party two and a half years later and started dating again, but this time she ended the relationship after a few months. He was so frustrated that he tore all her letters, unfollowed her and got off social media. When he rejoined Instagram months later, Melinda started following him and he “reluctantly” started hanging out with her again. Then, on his birthday in 2016, she expressed her desire to get back together with him. He was reluctant at first, but the relationship worked out this time. He proposed to her at the age of 20 in June 2017. They got married eight months later in February 2018.
