Alex Hook Biography

Alex Hook is a Canadian actress who gained fame after portraying the titular character of Frankie Gaines in Nickelodeon’s series ‘I Am Frankie.’ She was introduced to the field of acting in a local musical theatre when she was a child. Her love for performing intensified over the years and she decided to pursue acting professionally. She began her career by booking advertisements with The Family Channel. She later made her debut in 2012, appearing in a guest role in the TV series ‘Motives & Murders: Cracking the Case.’ It took her a few years to establish herself. In 2017, she landed the lead role in ‘I Am Frankie’. Today, Hook has emerged as one of the most sought after young Canadian actresses. A multitalented personality, Hook is an avid sports lover. She played hockey for seven years and currently plays volleyball and soccer. She also loves engaging in outdoor adventures, such as wakeboarding, cliff jumping, and water skiing.
