Alexandra Cooper Biography

In 2016, Alexandra Cooper got her first job in the media as an on-air studio anchor with Dirty Water Media. Later, while on a vacation in Texas, a conversation with her friend Sofia Franklyn eventually gave way to the creation of their podcast Call Her Daddy. The show, launched in 2018 and dealing with relationships and dating culture, soon grew popular and the two went on to sign a three-year contract with Barstool Sports. Following a disagreement in late 2019, Sofia Franklyn left the show and Alexandra Cooper became the solo host of the podcast in May 2020. In July 2021, she signed an exclusive three-year deal with Spotify worth $60 million for her podcast. The popularity of her podcast made her one of the highest paid female podcasters of 2021 and earned her a spot in Forbes’ 2022 30 Under 30 Media list. She has also featured on the Time magazine cover.

She is hugely popular on Instagram with over 2.3 million followers on her @alexandracooper account. Here, she posts her selfies and travel photographs. On her Twitter account of the same name, she is followed by 513K followers. Her You Tube channel, Alexandra Cooper, has over 309k subscribers. She opened her YouTube channel in September 2016 but posted her first video, Girls Trip To La...(Ft. Men), in February 2018.

Alexandra Cooper was born on 21st August 1994, in the United States, to Bryan and Laurie Cooper. Her mother is a psychologist while her father is a sports producer who once played hockey for the men’s hockey team of the University of Wisconsin. Together with her brother Grant and sister Kathryn, she grew up in Newtown, Pennsylvania.

For her education, she went to Pennington High School where she did well in not just her studies but also excelled in athletics. She was good at soccer which helped her get a scholarship to Boston University. She continued playing soccer at the university and was a division 1 player. She helped her team win numerous championships including the Patriot League title in 2014.

While studying and pursuing soccer, she became interested in media and content creation and therefore decided to major in film and television. She finally graduated in 2017.
