Alexis Knapp moved to Los Angeles at an early age of 18 and started taking modeling gigs. In 2008, she took up the role of the host of an internet video series, ‘Project Lore’. The show was based on videogame ‘World of Warcraft’.

Alexis Knapp made her film debut with a background role in the film, ‘Couples Retreat’, in 2009. In 2010, she played another background role in the film, ‘Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief’’, where she was attributed in the credits as Aphrodite Girl #9.

In 2012, she landed her first major gig in movies with ‘Project X’ where she played a girl named Alexis. In the same year, she was cast as Stacie Conrad in the movie ‘Pitch Perfect’. The movie earned her popularity, and she reprised the role of Conrad in future installments of the film: ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ in 2015 and ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ in 2017.

She has appeared in other films, including ‘So Undercover’, ‘The Anomaly’, ‘Urge’, among others.

Knapp made her television debut in 2010. She appeared as DeDe in one of the episodes of drama series, ‘Look: The Series’, which was broadcast on Showtime. She was also cast in the pilot for ‘Cinnamon Girl’, a drama series. The pilot, however, was not aired, and the show was killed off. (2013-2014) , she was cast in a major role for the first season of ‘Ground Floor’. Knapp was playing a party girl that went by the name, Tori.
