Ali Cobrin began her entertainment career as an improvisation player, in a teen ensemble of ‘Second City,’ and later worked for the Burklyn Ballet Theater, which was touring Scotland. She also worked in Broadway musicals, including ‘All That Jazz’, and ‘Wonderland’.

She eventually moved to the small screen, and appeared in the short films ‘Jack Turner and the Reluctant Vampire’ and ‘One’, both released in 2008. In 2009, she had a minor role in the fantasy horror film ‘The Hole’. It was directed by Joe Dante. The reviews were mostly positive, but the film was a commercial failure.

She was next seen in the 2010 film ‘Cold Cabin’. It is about six teenagers who go on a snowboarding trip in the mountains to repair their troubled friendship, but one of them gets murdered. The same year, she also gained popularity for her role in the TV show ‘Look: The Series’. Directed by Adam Rifkin, the series was based on the 2007 movie of the same name. The reviews were positive.

In 2011, she was seen in a guest role in the TV series ‘Friends with Benefits’. In 2012, she had a supporting role in the sex comedy film ‘American Reunion’. Though the reviews were mostly mixed, the film was a huge success commercially. It earned $230 million on a budget of $50 million. It was directed by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg. Directed by Nicholas Stoller, the film earned more than $270 million on a budget of $18 million, becoming a huge success commercially. The critical reception was also mostly positive. The same year, she also played the lead role in the slasher film ‘Girl House’. It was directed by Trevor Matthews. In 2014, she was seen in three other movies as well, ‘Lap Dance’, ‘A Beautiful Now’, and ‘Outlaw’.

In 2015, she was seen in the TV film ‘The Unauthorized Melrose Place Story’. Her latest works on TV are ‘The Baxters’, a 2018 TV series, and ‘Deadly Matrimony’, a 2018 TV film.
