Daughter of noted American actor, filmmaker, musician and political figure Clint Eastwood, Alison got into acting early. Childhood & Early Life
Alison Eastwood was born on May 22, 1972, in Carmel, California, to Clint Eastwood and Margaret Neville "Maggie" Johnson. Her parents divorced in November 1984.
Alison’s brother Kyle Eastwood is a jazz bass musician. She also has six half-siblings. They are Laurie Murray; film producer and make-up artist Kimber Eastwood, actor-model Scott Eastwood; actress-model-television personality and socialite Francesca Eastwood; actress-writer Kathryn Eastwood; and actress-producer Morgan Eastwood.
She studied at the Santa Catalina School in Monterey, California and at the Stevenson School in Pebble Beach. She then studied acting at UC Santa Barbara from 1990, however did not graduate from the university.

Career
Alison Eastwood made her film debut at age 7 with the uncredited role in the 1980 film ‘Bronco Billy’. It had her father and Sondra Locke in starring roles. This was followed by yet another uncredited role in the 1980 action-comedy film ‘Any Which Way You Can’ also starring Clint Eastwood and Locke.
Her first major role came with the suspense-thriller film ‘Tightrope’ produced by Clint Eastwood. The film that released on August 17, 1984, featured her as Amanda Block, daughter of Wes Block, divorced New Orleans police detective, played by Eastwood.
Her next feature was in the 1997 political thriller film ‘Absolute Power’. That year she also appeared in the crime drama film ‘Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil’, where Eastwood contributed as director and producer. Soundtrack of the movie included Alison’s cover of the popular Harold Arlen song ‘Come Rain or Come Shine’.
She then went on to star in the 1998 comedy film ‘Suicide, the Comedy’, in the 1999 romantic comedy film ‘Just a Little Harmless Sex’ and featured in the 1999 romantic-drama film ‘Friends & Lovers’. The latter had Stephen Baldwin, Robert Downey, Jr. and Claudia Schiffer in starring roles.
She essayed the role of Lynn Dombrowsky in the 1999 television film ‘Black and White’ and over the years featured in other television films. These were ‘The Spring’ (2000), ‘I'll Be Seeing You’ (2004), ‘They Are Among Us’ (2004) and ‘Lesser Evil’ (2006). She also appeared in the short films ‘The Bend’ (2002), ‘Flatbush’ (2005) and ‘Henry’ (2011).
Alison Eastwood continued with her big-screen roles that include featuring in several films like ‘Poolhall Junkies’ (2002), ‘Power Play’ (2003), ‘The Lost Angel’ (2005), ‘Once Fallen’ (2010) and ‘Shadow People’ (2013). She featured as Iris, estranged daughter of drug mule Earl Stone, played by Eastwood, in the blockbuster hit 2018 American crime drama film ‘The Mule’. It was produced and directed by Eastwood and starred him and Bradley Cooper among others.
Apart from acting, Alison also forayed into modelling and worked in Paris both as a runway and magazine model. She garnered attention after posing nude for ‘Playboy’ in February 2003. She also posed for Vogue (U.S. edition) and for other European fashion magazines.

On March 14, 1999, Alison Eastwood married American actor, screenwriter, and stand-up comedian Kirk Fox. The marriage didn’t last long and they divorced in January 2000.
In 2001, she gotromantically associated with music artist Michael Combs and had a live-in-relation with him. Combs died on December 15, 2004, in a snowboarding accident in Vail, Colorado.
She then had a long-time relationship with American chainsaw carving sculptor Stacy Poitras. The latter announced their engagement in December 2012 and the two married on March 15, 2013. They featured together in the reality TV series ‘Chainsaw Gang’.
