Alison King Biography

Alison King is an English actress known for her roles in the television series ‘Dream Team’ and ‘Coronation Street’. Born and raised in Leicestershire, England, she had an interest in pursuing acting from childhood. She attended drama classes in college and then went on to pursue further training at the North Cheshire Theatre School. She began her acting career with roles in a few television series and later ventured into feature films. Her portrayal of Carla Connor in the series ‘Coronation Street’ earned her several nominations for Best Actress at the British Soap Awards, out of which she won one. Apart from acting, she has also explored modelling and has been the brand ambassador of various brands like Boddingtons beer and Daz laundry detergent among others.
