Allison Holker is an American dancer well known for participating in dance shows on television. She started learning dance from a very young age and had a well-rounded training, learning both classical and contemporary forms. Early on in her career, she was selected among hundreds of dancers to perform at the 2002Winter Olympics opening and closing ceremonies in Utah. As her dancing flourished, she started entering dance competitions. Television shows were followed by films and it was just a matter of time that she became a recognised name in the world of dance. Holker married fellow dance contestant Stephen Boss, and the couple continue to have a successful professional relationship; teaching dance, hosting shows and performing.

In 2002, Allison Holker performed with the band Earth, Wind and Fire in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympic games at Salt Lake City, Utah. Two years later, Holker started entering dance competitions and won a few. These included the titles of National Senior Performer of the Year in 2004 from Company Dance in Colorado and National Senior Outstanding Dancer for the New York City Dance Alliance 2005.
Allison Holker came into limelight as a competitor in the second season of the television dance reality show, So You Think You Can Dance. Although she did not win the competition and finished eighth that season, yet she got noticed.
In 2006 Holker entered the world of acting with the TV movie, High School Musical, in which she played the role of a cheerleader dancer. She also appeared in the sequel, High School Musical 2, in 2007; this time playing a dancer from East High School.

Allison Holker joined Dancing With the Stars as a pro dancer in August 2014 and stayed on for three seasons. In 2016, after the birth of son, she went back to the show but decided that it was going to be her last season for the show.
In 2018, Allison Holker and her husband, Stephen Boss, started hosting Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings.
Allison Holker has been a back-up dancer for numerous prestigious shows, such as the Ballroom With a Twist and The X Factor USA. She has also performed for star singers, such as Demi Lovato and was featured in Christina Perri’s Jar of Hearts.
These days Allison Holker is a well-respected dance teacher and regularly conducts dance workshops. During the COVID pandemic, Allison Holker and Stephen Boss created fitness videos on Instagram titled Boss Family Workouts which gained a large following.

She started learning dance from the age of nine at The Dance Club at Orem in Utah. At the dance studio, she got the opportunity to learn ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary dance forms.

Allison Holker has a daughter Weslie from an earlier relationship who was later adopted by Boss. She has two children; son Maddox and daughter Zaia with Stephen Boss.
