Amanda Anka Biography

Amanda Anka (also known as Amanda Bateman) is an American actress best known for her roles in the films ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, ‘Lost Highway’, ‘Taxi’, ‘Cherry Falls’ and ‘Lightbulb’. She is also recognized as the wife of popular actor and comedian Jason Bateman and the daughter of the actor and musician Paul Anka. Amanda Anka serves in the entertainment industry as a voice artist as well. Born in New York City, she was raised alongside her four sisters and a half-brother. Her family came into the limelight in 2000 when her parents ended their marriage in a highly publicized divorce. The actress herself gained much attention when she accused hotelier Andre Balazs of groping her at the Chiltern Firehouse during a dinner party following the premiere of her husband’s movie, ‘Horrible Bosses 2’ in 2014. Currently, Anka resides in Los Angeles, California along with her husband and two kids, Francesca and Maple. She and Bateman, who have been married since 2001, have become an inspiration for many Hollywood couples out there!
