Andrew Taggart is an American DJ who gained fame as one half of the famous DJ duo ‘The Chainsmokers,’ alongside Alex Pall. The two met and experimented with indie music remixes. Andrew soon joined ‘The Chainsmokers’ as a replacement for Rhett. The duo performed live for the first time as the opening act for American band ‘Timeflies’ in New York. They made their breakthrough with their single ‘#Selfie,’ which reached the number one spot on the ‘Dance/ Electronic Songs’ chart. Their second sensational hit was the single ‘Roses,’ which earned the “multiplatinum” status in the US. This was followed by the release of their debut EP, ‘Bouquet.’ Their debut studio album, ‘Memories...Do Not Open,’ was certified “platinum” and reached the number one spot on the ‘Billboard 200’ chart. Their single ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ won the ‘Grammy Award’ for the ‘Best Dance Recording.’ Taggart was in a live-in relationship with ‘Instagram’ star Haley Rowe. However, their relationship hit a rough patch when he made a steamy performance with singer Halsey at the ‘MTV Video Music Awards.’ The couple later broke up, and he began dating model Christine Burke. He is currently believed to be single.
