Angela Kinsey’s career started with an internship in the hit NBC late night talk show, ‘Late Night with Conan O’Brien,’ in 1993. On this show, she worked with Max Weinberg, the band leader, and has called the experience an “awesome” one. She then moved to LA and joined acting classes with the Groundlings and Improv Olympic West. Her efforts paid off, and in 1997, she was cast as the voice of Angela in the television show, ‘King of the Hill.’ Then in 1998, she was seen in ‘Step by Step,’ another popular television show. Her small acting gigs were not enough to pay her bills, so she also worked in various positions in the corporate world. At one time, she worked as an operator for 1-800-Dentist. In 2003, she was seen in ‘All of Us’ and ‘Run of the House.’

In 2005, she landed the role of Angela Martin in ‘The Office.’ She initially auditioned for the role of Pam Beesly; however, the makers felt that Kinsey’s liveliness was best suited for the character of Angela Martin. The rest, as they say, is history. Angela Kinsey, along with the other cast members of ‘The Office,’ was honored with the Screen Actors Guild Award in 2007.

Angela Kinsey went on to work in many television shows and movies in the ensuing years. Some of the prominent television series that she appeared in are ‘Monk’ (2007, 2008), ‘New Girl’ (2013, 2014), ‘The Hotwives of Orlando’ (2014), ‘Haters Back Off’ (2016-17), and ‘Fresh Off the Boat’ (2018), to name a few. Besides television, she has also appeared in numerous movies. ‘License to Wed’ (2007), ‘Furry Vengeance’ (2010), ‘Struck by Lightning’ (2013), and ‘Slash’ (2016) are some of her movies that have been most talked about.

One of her most successful stints after ‘The Office’ concluded in 2013 is her cooking show on YouTube. The series, ‘Baking with Josh & Ange,’ has garnered quite a massive fan following ever since it first started in 2016. Josh, her husband, loves baking and together they show their audience how baking and cooking can be simple and fun. In the upcoming months, her fans will be able to watch her on her upcoming comedy film on Netflix called ‘Tall Girl.’ Angela Kinsey will essay the role of Helaine Kreyman, who is a former pageant queen and the mother of the lead character, Jodi.

Angela Kinsey was born on June 25, 1971, in Louisiana, Texas. She was only two years old when the family shifted to Jakarta, Indonesia, because of her father’s job. Her father was a drilling engineer. While living there, Angela went to Jakarta International English School. The school had a very good music, art, and theatre program and that is how she got hooked to theatre at an early age. Since she lived in Jakarta for twelve years, she became fluent in the Indonesian language. At the age of 14, she moved back to Archer City, Texas, the United States, with her family. Angela went on to study at Baylor University, where she majored in English. She attended numerous theatre classes and was part of the “Baylor in London” program. She graduated in 1993.

Angela Kinsey is not someone who courts controversy as far as her personal life is concerned. Her first marriage was with Warren Lieberstein, who is a writer and producer. He also happens to be the brother of Paul Lieberstein, who essayed the role of Toby Flenderson in ‘The Office.’ They married in 2000 and divorced ten years later. They have a daughter called Isabel Ruby Lieberstein, who was born on May 3, 2008. In 2016, she married Joshua Snyder and the marriage is still going strong.
