Arianny Celeste Biography

Arianny Celeste began her professional career as a UFC Octagon Girl in 2006, at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Paradise in Nevada. In the first World MMA Awards held in 2008, Arianny was voted ‘Ring Girl of the Year’. She won this title four times in succession. In 2009, she beat the likes of Logan Stanton and Natasha Wicks to clinch the title. Her success in 2010, was even more stunning as she beat formidable contestants like Brittney Palmer and Rachelle Leah. After her third World MMA Award in 2010, ‘Maxim’ captioned her ‘The Hottest UFC Octagon Girl’.

In Maxim’s ‘Hot 100’ list of 2010, she ranked 23rd. In the fourth edition of World MMA contest in 2011, she was voted ‘Ring Girl of the Year’ once again, defeating Brittney Palmer. Arianny won this award for the record fifth time in 2014. Along with her debut as a UFC Octagon Girl, she had begun her modelling career. She has modelled for ‘Playboy,’ ‘Maxim,’ ‘Sports Illustrated,’ ‘Fighter’s Only Magazine,’ and ‘FHM.’ In February 2010, she was named ‘Lady of the Day’ by ‘Sports Illustrated’. Arianny Celeste is also successful as a television show host. Between 2014 and 2015, she co-hosted seven episodes of ‘Overhaulin’ presented by Velocity Television.

For several years Arianny Celeste dated Praveen Chandra, however, they parted ways in 2014.

On 26 May 2012, Arianny was arrested on charges of domestic violence from a hotel in Las Vegas. She was charged for kicking her then-boyfriend Praveen Chandra on his nose. However, she also reported of being choked by Praveen several times during the course of their fight. Soon after being arrested, she was released on a bond of $3000.

Arianny Celeste also had a public beef with MMA fighter Ronda Rousey.

Arianny Celeste was born as Penelope Lopez Marquez on November 12, 1985, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is of Mexican-Filipino descent and speaks fluent Spanish. She attended Palo Verde High School. Later she pursued a degree program in Fitness Management and Nutrition at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. From her early years she was hardworking and athletic. As a young girl she was talented in gymnastics, dancing, and cheer-leading. She has a habit of creating her own exercises and trying out new recipes. Her first major break as a model came when she was 15 years of age.
