Arón Piper Biography

Arón Piper was born Arón Julio Manuel Piper Barbero (or Barber), on March 29, 1997, in Berlin, Germany. He is of mixed descent, as he was born to a Spanish mother and a German father.

At 5, Arón, along with his family, moved to Spain. He grew up in Luarca, a Spanish village.

Arón can speak four languages: German, English, Catalan, and Castilian Spanish.

Arón Piper was trained in acting and directing at an early age. He began his career as an “extra” in The Gunman in 2004. In 2011, he appeared as Iñaki in Maktub. The following year, he appeared in two short films: as Hijo in Fracaso escolar and as Andy in Only When I Have Nothing to Eat.

Following this, he was seen in 15 Years and One Day (2013) and the historical drama The Broken Crown (as Fernando de Habsburgo, 2016).

He then appeared in two episodes of the medical docu-drama series Centro médico (as Rubén Santos and Adrián Muriana, in 2016 and 2017, respectively). In 2018, he appeared as Chico in the short film Un minuto.

In 2019, he appeared as Luis Rojas in the series Derecho a sonar. The same year, he played Jacobo in the adventure comedy The Rodriguez and the Beyond.

In 2018, Arón Piper bagged the breakthrough role of Ander Muñoz in the Spanish Netflix teen thriller–drama series Elite, created by Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona. The series was immensely successful and was renewed for seasons 2 and 3, in 2019 and 2020, respectively.

His upcoming series, the Carlos Montero-created The Mess You Left Behind, is another Netflix Original. The series, which was earlier set to release by the first quarter of 2020, is based on a 2016 novel of the same name, written by Primavera Award. Arón will be seen as Iago in the series. It is still in its post-production stage.

He has also made small appearances in the series Días de cine, Cinema 3, and Hollywood Insider and the short Tenemos de todo.

Arón Piper is represented by the Madrid-based talent agency Garay Talent.

Apart from acting, he has a keen interest in music, too. Toward the end of 2019, he posted an Instagram video that showed him recording music in a studio.

He delighted his fans by releasing the audio of Sigo, a collaborative single made along with other musicians, on YouTube on April 3, 2020. The clip, titled ARÓN x MOONKEY x MYGAL – Sigo, has gained more than 3 million views and over 197 thousand likes.

On July 3, 2020, he released his second music video, Mal, on YouTube. The single has gained more than 2 million views and over 227 thousand likes to date.

Arón Piper joined YouTube on March 28, 2020. He has already gained more than 6 million views and over 245 thousand subscribers through his two videos on the channel.

He is on Twitter as YoArónPiper and has gained more than 16.4 thousand followers on the platform. On Instagram, Arón’s account, Arón.piper, has earned more than 13 million followers.

Arón Piper likes to keep his personal life under the radar and away from the media.

He loves expressing himself through his outfits and often switches between casuals and formals. He is often seen experimenting with his dressing style.

In his leisure time, he is mostly found swimming in a pool or in the ocean. Arón is a smoker.
