Ashleigh Murray is an American actress cum singer. She is best known for playing Josie McCoy in the television series ‘Riverdale’ as well as Deidra in the Netflix-produced flick ‘Deidra & Laney Rob a Train.’ Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, Murray went to Oakland, California, when she was in the fifth grade. There she learnt jazz, piano, and hip hop music. She later attended high school in Kansas City before she enrolled at New York City’s New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Extremely passionate about acting, Murray first got to prove her talent in the field while studying at NYCDA by starring in the off-Broadway production "Child of the Movement,” inspired by a true story. Since then, she has been routinely seen both on the small and the big screens, portraying minor to complex characters. Besides being an actress, the beauty is a good singer as well. She is a very private person who rarely talks about her personal life in her interactions with the media.
