B. Artis White revealed in a Q&A video on YouTube that at first, he did not want to make videos on TikTok, but was inspired by friends to do so. A lifelong basketball fan, he started showing off his skills on the platform and gained a dedicated fan following. However, like most other TikTokers, he also posted dance and lip-sync videos, as well as funny videos featuring his little brother. Apart from TikTok, he occasionally posted pictures and videos on Instagram. He often collaborated with other popular internet personalities he met at social media or basketball events. Later he would inspire his friends Jonny Test and Owen to make videos on TikTok.

B. Artis White joined YouTube on March 18, 2020 and posted his first video, “Q&A W/ JonnyTest & Owen”, on August 22 that year. He took nearly a year to upload his next video, and seemed to shift his focus to posting reaction videos. On July 26, 2021, he uploaded a video sharing his reaction to the “2021 XXL Freshman Cypher”, featuring one of his favorite artists DDG. Days later on July 29, he made another video reacting to the video “They Came To HOOP! First EVER Park Takeover in CHICAGO!” (Reaction to Cam Wilder’s Takeover!)3 by fellow basketball player and social media star Cam Wilder. He explained in the video that he was invited by Wilder to take part in the Chicago event, but he got delayed due to an address mix-up and arrived at the location 40 minutes late. He also expressed his intention of participating in Wilder’s next and bigger park takeover event in New York later that year. While he mentioned not being active on YouTube and promised to “start YouTube for real” by posting a “day in life” video on the platform soon, he has not uploaded anything on his channel since then. Nevertheless, he has managed to gather 16.7k subscribers on his eponymous channel.

B. Artis White was born on October 16, 2000 in Canton, Michigan, United States. He has an older sister and a younger brother named Beniah. He often makes videos with his brother, while both his sister and his father have also made occasional appearances on his videos. B. Artis, who once jokingly said that he started playing basketball as soon as he came out of the womb, was accepted into the Western Michigan University basketball team in 2019. His favorite artist is Canadian rapper Drake, who he said “can do no wrong”

B. Artis White has dated fellow TikTok star Princess Cherry a.k.a. Cherry Hunt. He had a crush on her even before they started dating and he was quite open about it, stating in a Q&A video that his fans already knew who his crush was. They first met each other in person during a TikTok event in Atlanta, her hometown. They clicked immediately and were shipped as “Berry” by their fans. Contrary to allegations that it was all for social media clout, they stated that they were pretty serious about the relationship and even lived together the way a married couple would.

While they lived in different states, whenever they were together, they milked every moment of it. However, it started to affect his basketball aspirations as he was having a difficult time juggling sports, education and the relationship. Unfortunately, he did not speak openly about the stress of the situation, and their relationship spiraled downwards. They were not on talking terms until he later apologized to her through a voicemail. He even drove to Atlanta to apologize to her family members. Subsequently, the two came together for a video on Cherry’s the kctwinss YouTube channel, titled LET'S TALK ABOUT IT...WHAT HAPPENED W B.ARTIS & CHERRY? In the video, they explained to fans what went wrong between them to dissuade speculations. While he again apologized to her publicly for not being vocal about his sentiments, Cherry also apologized for expressing her anger on the internet, which brought the issue to the public and blew it out of proportion.
