Barry Lewis Bio

Barry Lewis is a cook and author recognized for his role as the founder of the popular MyVirginKitchen YouTube channel. Known for his cookbook "Dinner's On," Barry also collaborates with Stuart Ashen on the joint YouTube channel Barshens. His culinary journey began as a personal challenge to himself, aiming to enhance his cooking skills through sharing his experiences with his audience. Each recipe he attempts on his channel is prepared for the first time in front of his subscribers, adding an element of spontaneity and authenticity to his content. Prior to pursuing his passion for cooking full-time, Barry worked as a quantity surveyor for the Wates Group, but eventually decided to take a sabbatical to dedicate more time to his culinary endeavors. Barry is married to Rebecca Gardner and a proud father to his daughters, Phoebe and Chloe.
