Ben Indra Biography

Ben was born Benjamin Jeffery Indra, on February 23, 1979, in Sonoma County, California, US. He began his career as an actor in 1999. He made his debut with the role of ‘Bradley’ in the American independent slasher (a horror sub-genre) film 'Lovers Lane.' In 2000, Ben was seen as ‘Mike McCready’ in the horror–fantasy movie 'Voodoo Academy.' The same year, he was seen as ‘Kelby’ in the movie 'Tempest Eye.'

The year 2001 turned out to be a profitable year for Ben, as he got his first significant acting project that year. He played the recurring character of ‘Josh’ in 20 episodes of the comedy show ‘Raising Dad,’ aired on ‘The WB.’ His work was highly appreciated by the audience. Ben made a guest appearance as ‘Colefax’ in the 2005 American sitcom 'Love, Inc.'

Ben was previously married to actor Anna Faris. They met for the first time while filming 'Lovers Lane.' They eventually began a passionate affair and got married on June 3, 2004. In the 2017 book 'Unqualified,' authored by Anna, she revealed several details about the time they were dating each other. Ben was completely smitten by Anna’s personality. He had proposed to her twice. Ben had even asked for permission from Anna’s father before proposing to her. He had made his first proposal to Anna over a lunch date. He had actually taken her to an antique jewelry store and had asked her to choose a ring for herself. Anna had rejected the proposal, and but they had continued their lunch date. A few months later, Ben had proposed to her on his knees at the 'Mondrian Hotel' and Anna had said “yes.”

Unfortunately, things did not go well after their marriage. Their relationship eventually soured, and Ben and Anna settled for a divorce. Apparently, their professional differences were responsible for the split. While Anna was flourishing in her acting career, Ben was still struggling. The other reason was Anna’s budding closeness to her co-star Chris Pratt. Anna met Chris when she was struggling with her marriage. Chris’s charming personality made her regret the decision of marrying a struggling actor. In April 2007, Anna filed for a divorce. It was finalized in February 2008. Anna agreed to pay $900 thousand as a settlement amount. They also sold off their home in December 2007.

Anna married Chris in 2009. They have a son named Jack, who was born prematurely in August 2012. However, the couple separated in 2017, and their divorce was finalized in 2018.
