Bianca Cheah Biography

Bianca Cheah was born in Queensland, Australia. She was raised in Tweed Heads, before her family moved to Sydney in 2006. Her father is a popular martial artist, who brought the art of “Tae kwon do” to Australia. Her mother, from whom Bianca learnt the art of maintaining a flawless skin, was a beauty therapist. While she learnt the importance of staying fit from her father, she picked up the basics of beauty and wellness from her mother. Along with developing healthy eating habits, Bianca started playing tennis at a young age. She started her career at the age of 18, when she began working as a beauty therapist for ‘Shiseido.’ Two years later, she started working as a model and went on to work with popular fitness magazines such as ‘Shape’ and ‘Cosmopolitan Body.’ Her popularity increased when she graced the cover of ‘Fernwood,’ which led her to strike modeling deals with brands such as ‘Jaguar’ and ‘Converse.’ Since fitness had become an important aspect of her life, Bianca decided to write about it and started blogging in 2012. When she realized that her blogs were being read widely, she decided to turn her hobby into a business venture.

In 2012, she started ‘Sporteluxe,’ a digital publication on fitness and lifestyle. ‘Sporteluxe’ was an instant success and it soon became Australia’s leading publication for style and fitness. In less than two years after coming up with ‘Sporteluxe,’ Bianca managed to build an online empire. What began as a mere blog now had 30 contributors and two offices. She now works as the managing director of ‘Sporteluxe’ and takes care of its strategic development. She is also a social-media star, with thousands of fans across various social-media platforms. Her ‘Instagram’ account has more than 166,000 followers.

Bianca Cheah trains with celebrity fitness trainer Dan Adair. Her workout routine includes high-intensity training thrice a week. She usually does four sets of various exercises with 12 repetitions of each exercise. This includes dead lifts, lunges, kettlebell swings, and goblin squats. On other days, she focuses on her cardio exercises, such as running on the treadmill for about 45 minutes. She also trains hard at home and often practices yoga. Bianca is a certified yoga instructor and often states that yoga is an important aspect of her fitness regimen.

Bianca married her long-time boyfriend Simon Chalmers in Southern Highlands, New South Wales, in 2015. Bianca and Simon live at their Sydney residence, along with Bianca’s pet French Bulldog, Sporte. Both Bianca and Simon love to spend their Sundays by cooking on the terrace. Bianca loves chicken and cooks it with macadamia. She bakes her dishes instead of frying them. When she is not cooking, she either manages her work or indulges in various fitness activities. According to Bianca, her life is pretty simple. She prefers to stick to her daily schedule, which she has created along with her husband. She came up with the calendar routine in order to strike a balance between her professional and private lives. Following the schedule helps Bianca spend enough time with her husband and her pet dog.
