Bokeem Woodbine is an American actor and ventriloquist. He is best known for appearing as Mike Milligan in the series ‘Fargo’ and as Leon Cooley in the drama ‘Saving Grace’. The actor has also guest-starred in a number of television shows including ‘CBS Schoolbreak Special’, ‘The X-Files’, ‘CSI: Miami’, ‘The Evidence’, ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’, ‘Life in Pieces’ and ‘Snowfall’. He has acted in numerous movies, such as ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, ‘Crooklyn’, ‘Panther’, ‘The Elevator’, ‘Caught Up’, ‘Almost Heroes’, ‘3000 Miles to Graceland’, ‘Ray’, ‘The Poker House’, ‘The Fifth Commandment’ and ‘The Host’. Talking about Woodbine’s awards and honors, he once received a Critics' Choice Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie Made for Television or Limited Series’. He also earned an Emmy Award nomination under the category ‘Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Limited Series Or A Movie’. Very few people know that Woodbine is also the founder of the production agency Woodbine Enterprises as well as the lead guitarist and singer of the rock band 13 Purple Dragons.

Bokeem Woodbine first appeared in an episode of ‘CBS Schoolbreak Special’ in 1993. He then appeared in the movies ‘Crooklyn’ and ‘Jason's Lyric’. Soon after this, he was cast for the films ‘Panther’ and ‘Dead Presidents’. In 1996, Woodbine appeared in a music video for Tupac. The same year, he acted in the films ‘The Elevator’, ‘Freeway’ and ‘The Rock’. Then he got the opportunity to perform in the movies ‘Caught Up’, ‘The Big Hit’ and ‘Almost Heroes’.
In the year 1999, the American artiste did the flicks ‘Can't Get Right’ and ‘The Runner’. A year later, he was cast for the TV film ‘Sacrifice’ as well as for the dramas ‘Battery Park’ and ‘City of Angels’. Additionally, he also appeared in Wu-Tang Clan's music videos for their tracks "Protect Ya Neck", “Careful” and "Gravel Pit". From 2001 to 2005, Woodbine did a handful of big screen projects including ‘3000 Miles to Graceland’, ‘The Breed’, ‘Run for the Money’, ‘Ray’ and ‘Edmond’. Soon after this, he guest-starred in the dramas ‘The Evidence’ and ‘Blade: The Series’.
From 2007 to 2010, the actor played the role of ‘Leon Cooley’ on ‘Saving Grace’. During this time, he also appeared in the films ‘The Poker House’ and ‘The Fifth Commandment’. After this, he was cast as Officer Jones for the drama ‘Southland’. In 2013, Woodbine got featured in the movies ‘The Host’, ‘Riddick’ and ‘1982’. Two years later, he played Mike Milligan in the series ‘Fargo’. In 2017, he appeared in the flick ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ as well as in the drama ‘Underground’.
