Brandon Larracuente is an American actor who shot to fame at an early age for his portrayal of Ben Rayburn in the Netflix series ‘Bloodline’ and Jeff Atkins in another Netflix series ‘13 Reasons Why’. Critics praised his portrayal of Jeff Atkins and commented that he has a bright future. He was discovered by a church chorus leader at the age of four and introduced to the world of theatre. He then became a part of two operas at the New Rochelle Opera House. Currently, he has three films including ‘Baywatch’ to his credit, and a couple of them are in the making. Brandon Larracuente started his acting career as a child actor at the age of eight, when he appeared in the Off-Broadway show, ‘Desire’. He was next featured in ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ at the Orlando Repertory Theatre. He made his first big-screen appearance in the 2011 action film ‘Missing 24 Hours’ directed by Christian Claudio. In 2013, he made his television debut in ‘The Glades’ followed by ‘Every Witch Way’ and ‘Constantine’ in 2014.
His talent was finally recognized and he tasted success with the portrayal of the character Ben Rayburn in the 2015 Netflix original thriller ‘Bloodline’, developed by Todd A. In 2017, he portrayed the role of Jeff Atkins on another Netflix series, ‘13 Reasons Why,’ a mystery drama based on the novel titled ‘Thirteen Reasons Why’ by Jay Asher. Brian Yorkey adapted it for Netflix. While Brandon had initially auditioned for Zach Dempsey’s role, he was selected to play Jeff Atkins. Although Brandon appeared in only six episodes, his character became so popular amongst the teens that when Jeff Atkins died in a car accident, his fans demanded that Jeff Atkins’ character deserves to stay longer in the series. In 2017, he was also seen in big-budget films like ‘Bright’ and ‘Baywatch.’
In 2020, he starred as ‘Clay Howard’ in the Ben Hickernell-directed American thriller film ‘What We Found.’ The film holds a 5.5 out of 10 rating on IMDb. That same year, he also portrayed ‘Emilio Acosta’ in the family drama series ‘Party of Five.’ The show was canceled after one season. In 2022, he joined the cast of the medical drama series ‘The Good Doctor’ as ‘Dr. Daniel "Danny" Perez.’
