Brian Hollins was born on July 14, 1984, in New Jersey, US, to Bobby Hollins. He attended the 'Delran High School,' New Jersey, and after graduating high school, he joined the ‘Golf Academy of the South’ in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

Career

Brian's professional golf career began soon after he finished his training at the ‘Golf Academy of the South’ in Altamonte Springs, Florida. He later played at the 'Hooters' and the 'Tarheel Tour,' which led him to the 'US Open.'

Brian played remarkably well at the ‘US Open,’ recording a birdie on the second extra hole. He eventually began working as an assistant golf professional, but before that, Brian was an associate teacher at the 'Will Brook Country Club.' He had also worked at the 'Laurel Creek Country Club' for 3 years.

In 2015, Brian aimed for the 'US Open' but unfortunately did not get through. He currently works with the 'Trenton Country Club' in New Jersey as an assistant golf professional.

Family & Personal Life

Brian is married to ‘World Cup’ champion and two-time 'Olympic' gold medalist soccer player Carli Lloyd. The two met for the first time when they were in their second year at 'Delran High School' in 2001. They eventually began a relationship and dated for nearly 16 years. Their families were neighbors in the town of Delran, New Jersey. They lived opposite each other near ‘Vermes Field.’

Brian and Carli got married on November 4, 2016, in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Their wedding ceremony was held along the Riviera Maya, a scenic tourism and resort district in the south of Cancun. It was a low-key affair, with just friends and family present at the venue.

Carli chose a strapless gown from the 2016 fall collection by designer Matthew Christopher.

Brian and Carli currently live in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. In an interview to 'Sports Illustrated,' Brian said that Carli has been "by far the most competitive person" he has ever known.
