Brittany Broski Bio

Brittany Broski, real name Brittany Alexis Tomlinson, was born on May 10th, 1997, in Dallas, Texas. She has had a veritable acting experience throughout her childhood. She took part in many popular comedies and dramas for the local theater with the popular ones such as The Addams Family, Bus Stop, Spamalot, et cetera. Her improvisational skills were honed in high school, where she was part of her school’s improv troupe. Her friends insisted on creating a social media account in June, 2019 to showcase her comedic talents. Her post went viral on Snapchat and she quickly created another social media account on the popular app TikTok.

Brittany Broski’s claim to fame began with making comedic shorts on tasting food, mainly themed around ‘depression meals’; the foods you eat when you are depressed. Her video on Cherry flavored Kombucha tasting went viral as her reaction changed with every single taste of the drink. Her hilarious description of the tasting earned her millions of views and catapulted her to TikTok fame. It also earned her the nickname of “Kombucha Girl”.

TikTok is not the only social media platform where she is famous. Her antics have also gone viral on Twitter, Youtube, and Reddit, especially among the LGBT community. Following the immense success and viral mentions on these various platforms, she has gone on to sign on with a talent management firm named United Talent Agency in Los Angeles.

With all the success on social media, she has signed many advertisement deals, with a surprise appearance for Sabra Hummus during Super Bowl LIV

Along with her mainstream success, ‘Kombucha Girl’ has become a TikTok icon, hosting many of TikToks popular segments and hosting the New Year Party for TikTok with rapper Lil Yachty.

Brittany Broski has managed to stay relatively controversy-free in her career so far, with the one exception where she faced stinging fan backlash over her repeated uses of slurs and phrases of the popular colloquialisms used mainly by African Americans. Her defense on this controversy is that it is the internet culture and that she was not looking to objectify or appropriate the African American culture.

Brittany Broski helped inspire the creation of “Ratatouille the Musical” from the Pixar gem “Ratatouille” by inventing the viral smash hit aptly called “Remy the Ratatouille.”

Brittany Broski was included in the TikTok hall of fame for the year 2020.
