Bryan Randall Biography

Bryan Randall was born in 1966, in a close-knit family of Portland, Oregon. He has a brother, Kevin Randall. Though born in Portland, he attended a high school in Pennsylvania and later studied acting at the well-known Los Angeles drama school ‘Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop.’

During the 1990s, Randall worked as a fashion model and appeared on ‘Vogue Paris’ and modeled for fashion houses, such as ‘Hugo Boss’ and ‘Saint Laurent.’ In 2011, he modeled along with Cindy Crawford for ‘Harper’s Bazaar Singapore.’ He also appeared with Lily Aldridge in a number of modeling pictures.

He owned a successful photography business, ‘Bryan Randall Photography.’ According to his website, he enjoyed photographing children and outdoor scenes. His business was mainly based in Los Angeles.

Randall also worked with ‘The Actors Company’ and photographs head shots of aspiring actors. He was a sought-after professional and his work displayed creative disposition and consideration for artistes.

Bryan Randall was in a relationship with Janine Staten. When Janine was pregnant, he entered a rehab for drug addiction, and after completing the rehab he was able to get rid of the addiction, but Staten continued with her heroin addiction and died of overdose on January 7, 2004 (some reports state the year as 2007). Together they had a daughter, Skylar Staten Randall.

In 1990s, he was arrested for DUI and on pleading guilty, served 4 days in the prison and 2 years of probation. He is said to be sober for several years now.

He dated Paris St. John, daughter of soap opera actor Kristoff St. John. 

Randall met Sandra Bullock when she contacted him to photograph for her son Louis’ birthday and the two hit it off well. They were spotted together at a number of events. He was also very close to Bullock’s two (adopted) children, Louis and Laila.

Bryan Randall died on August 5, 2023, after struggling with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) for a couple of years. His struggle with ALS was kept confidential. According to his his family, "Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request."
