Camilla Luddington is an English actress best known for her role as Jo Karev in the popular TV series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. Luddington was born in Berkshire, England, and moved to Texas, US, when she was a teenager. She decided to pursue a career in the show business and studied acting at the New York Film Academy. Even though she hails from England, she has mostly worked in US. She made her big screen debut with a small role as a receptionist in the film ‘A Couple of White Chicks at the Hairdresser’. Later, she made her TV debut playing a guest role in the crime drama series ‘The Forgotten’. She was also seen in a guest role in the crime drama series ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’. She played a lead role for the first time in the TV film ‘William & Kate: The Movie’, where she portrayed Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge. This role gained her much popularity and helped her bag a main role in the medical drama TV series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. Besides her film and TV roles, she is also known for her voice role of Lara Croft in the ‘Tomb Raider’ video game series. Over the course of her career so far, she has been nominated for multiple awards such as the Spike Video Game Award.
