Chance always had an inclination towards gaming as he spent most of his early days playing Xbox games. His passion for video games increased with every passing day. After joining junior college, he decided to make a career in the field of gaming. Some of his friends suggested him to try out YouTube. He then created a YouTube channel and named it ‘Sodapoppin’ to make it sound appealing and exciting. He uploaded his first video in 2012 in which he was seen playing a popular game called ‘Amnesia 2.’

Initially, Chance posted some random videos without giving much of a thought about the content. In fact, he had created the channel just to have fun and never thought about making money out of it. But to his surprise, the channel became popular and within a year, it managed to acquire considerable number of followers.

He then moved to Michigan, where his social media career received a major boost. After starting off by posting videos on ‘World of Warcraft,’ he began to expand his horizons and started playing games of different genres. Chance then created an account on Twitch and slowly gathered a huge fan following. He soon became a popular player on Twitch and created a community on Twitch. He gathered his existing fans and then added more members into his community. His community soon became popular and started adding more members. This helped his channel grow.

Interestingly, almost all his viewers suffer from acute acne. In fact, Chance chooses his moderators or players based on the severity of the condition and the number of acnes they have on their faces! Chance is the co-owner of ‘NRG eSports,’ an esports organization based in California.

Chance has collaborated with the fellow YouTuber Sky Williams, who has appeared on his channel on a number of occasions. Chance also designs his own line of graphic T-shirts for kids and teens. He sells them under the brand, ‘Teespring.’ Chance won the ‘Best Streamer of the Year’ award which was presented to him by the team of ‘World of Warcraft.’

Chance was banned from posting videos on Twitch on several occasions as he is said to have behaved in an indecent manner. At first, he was banned for sexually harassing a Twitch staff. After a few days, he was once again banned for a brief span of time when he was caught posting obscene content which featured Emily Young, a fellow video streamer. Chance was also banned on several other occasions for getting involved in illegal activities.

Chance Morris was born on February 15, 1994, in Austin, Texas, USA. His real name is Thomas Jefferson Morris. He lived with his parents in Texas before moving to Michigan. Chance was raised along with his seven siblings. One of his brothers Dkane Morris, better known as Dustin Morris, is a famous rapper. According to a few reports, some of Chance's siblings are adopted. Chance is the youngest in the family.

Chance completed his high school from Texas. He was a brilliant student and excelled in almost all subjects. He enrolled at Texas University, but dropped out in order to pursue a career in gaming.

Chance is a pet lover. He owns a German Shepherd and has named it ‘Buddy.’ He also owns another dog named Kevin. Kevin is a cross between Border Collie and Golden Retriever. Chance often posts videos about his dogs on his social media accounts.
