Charles Michael Davis was born on December 1, 1984, in Dayton, Ohio. His father, Charles Davis, is of African American descent, and was born in Kentucky. His mother, Marina Davis, is of Filipino descent. She was born in Manila. Davis is not known to have siblings.
Davis attended the ‘Stebbins High School,’ in Riverside, for his school education. Later, he attended the ‘Miami University,’ in Oxford, Ohio. As a youngster, Davis was interested in modeling. He started his modeling career with the ‘Wings Model Management,’ in Cincinnati. He received more offers after getting noticed at the event conducted by the agency, ‘Actors, Models, and Talent for Christ.’ Davis has worked for commercials, and for print advertisements, for brands such as ‘Nike,’ and ‘FootLocker.’

Career
In 2005, Charles Michael Davis made his debut in acting with a small role in an episode of the TV series, ‘Noah’s Arc.’ He appeared in the episode named, ‘Don’t Mess with My Man.’ In the same year, he performed as ‘Trevor,’ in the TV series, ‘That’s So Raven.’ It was a supernatural sitcom aired on the ‘Disney’ channel. Davis appeared in the episode titled, ‘Save the Last Dance.’
After his debut, Davis did not receive any acting offers for a while. He used the time to hone his skills. In 2008, Davis was offered a role in the TV Special ‘The Big Match.’ In 2010, he performed as ‘Hicks,’ in the TV movie ‘Night and Day.’
In 2011, Davis performed in a recurring role in the series, ‘Switched at Birth.’ It was a teen drama series telecast on the ‘ABC Family’ channel. It told the story of two teenagers who happened to be switched at birth, by the hospital authorities. In the series, Davis performed as ‘Liam Lupo,’ who was the ex-boyfriend of both the protagonists. He appeared in Season 1 of the series.
From 2011 to 2012, Davis performed in a recurring role in the TV series, ‘The Game.’ It was a comedy drama series originally aired on ‘The CW’ network. Davis performed as ‘Kwan Kirkland,’ who was a former quarterback. He appeared in five episodes, through Seasons 4 and 5. In 2102, Davis performed in the miniseries, ‘The Life Genie.’ He worked as the associate producer for two episodes of the series.
In 2013, Charles Michael Davis was seen in the highly acclaimed medical drama series, ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ It was aired on the ‘ABC’ network. He performed as ‘Dr. Jason Myers,’ which was a recurring role. Davis appeared in seven episodes of Season 9 of the series. In 2013, Davis performed as ‘Charles,’ in the short movie, ‘The Proposal.’ In 2014, he performed as ‘Frank,’ in the short film, ‘The Learning Curve.’ In 2015, he was seen as ‘Mike,’ in the TV movie, ‘Ur in Analysis.’ Davis was the producer of the movie too.
In 2017, Charles Michael Davis was offered a prominent recurring role in the TV series, ‘Younger.’ The series is being aired on the ‘TV Land’ channel. It tells the story of a middle aged female protagonist who fakes her identity, and acts as a younger woman, in order to get a job. In the series, Davis portrays ‘Zane Anders,’ an editor working with a major publishing house. ‘Zane’ was a recurring character in the fourth season. From the fifth season onwards, the character has been made a part of the regular cast. Davis is still performing the part.
In 2018, Davis appeared in telenovela ‘Jane the Virgin’ and ‘Z Nation.’ (‘Jane the Virgin’ is a telenovela) In 2019, he bagged a recurring role as ‘Blair Williams,’ in the sixth season of the series, ‘Chicago P.D.’ He was also seen as ‘Ted,’ in Season 2 of the legal drama series, ‘For the People.’ The series was cancelled after the second season.
