Cierra Ramirez was born on March 9, 1995, in Houston, Texas. Her father, Sonny Ramirez, is a music producer and consultant. Her mother is a kindergarten teacher. She has a sister, Savannah. Her father is Columbian, and her mother is Mexican.

Cierra Ramirez belongs to a rich family. She had an easy and pampered childhood. Ramirez picked up fashion tips from her mother and started participating in fashion shows when was 6 years old.

Ramirez was raised in Sugar Land, Texas. She attended the ‘Westside High School’ for two years. Later, she moved to Los Angeles, where she was homeschooled to help her devote more time to her acting career.

Ramirez’s character, ‘Kathy,’ was introduced as a pregnant freshman in the hundredth episode of the series. ‘Kathy’ eventually faces problems in college because of her pregnancy and plans to give her baby up for adoption. She was selected for the role of ‘Mariana Adams Foster’ in the series ‘The Fosters.’ ‘Mariana’ is portrayed as a bright girl who is adopted by a lesbian couple.
