Supermodel and actress Claudia Schiffer is one of the most well-known faces in the world. Her face has appeared in over 1000 magazine covers and she holds a Guinness Record for being on the maximum number of magazine covers. Born in a small, picturesque German town, Schiffer was only a teenager when she was discovered by an agent. Her rise on the fashion scene was meteoric and within just a couple of years of her first photoshoot fashion houses and fashion magazines were clamouring to have her as their model. Her face launched numerous fashion brands which went on to become big names. What is most spectacular about her career is that while modelling is considered to be a short-lived career, Claudia Schiffer remains a glamourous and sought-after model in her fifties.
