Taz Alam is a Welsh poet, YouTube star, and social media influencer. She is better known by her social media moniker, ClickForTaz. She has gained fame for her spoken word poetry and “Taz Talks” YouTube videos. A native of Cardiff, Taz had a turbulent childhood and grew up with a lot of insecurities. She graduated with a law degree but did not initially know what she wanted to do with her life. However, she did not have any alternative plans either. Eventually, she found out about spoken word poetry. After she composed her first poem and published it online, she garnered a loyal group of audience. In time, that group grew exponentially and she, in turn, experienced personal growth as well, learning the art of filming, editing, writing, performing, and speaking at a public event. She created her YouTube channel in October 2012 and started posting videos soon after. Her initial videos, including vlogs and challenge videos, were on a variety of themes. In October 2015, she uploaded her first poetry video. Since then, she has emerged as one of the most prominent poets on YouTube and has accumulated several thousands of subscribers and millions of views. Taz is popular on other social media platforms as well.
