Gloom Bio

Kassima launched her CloudyApples channel in February 2011. After spending part of her early life in Singapore, she returned to YouTube in February 2013, at which time she deleted her earlier uploads and shifted her creative direction. In September 2015, she created a gaming-focused YouTube channel called GloomGames, which was later rebranded simply as Gloom and became her primary platform.

Gloom was born on December 19, 1990 in Canada. She has a younger sister and an older brother. She is of mixed Chinese, British, Malaysian and Italian descent. In December 2019, she became engaged to fellow content creator Teebs Liebersteen.

Among her notable collaborations is the video “Reacting with Shakira to Her Old Videos!”, in which she appeared alongside the internationally renowned singer Shakira.
