Comethazine is an American rapper and songwriter. He is best known for his singles ‘Walk,’ ‘Piped Up,’ and ‘Hella Choppers.’ A high-school dropout, Comethazine worked as a mechanic before making his entry into the field of music. He started his career in music by posting his songs on the audio distribution platform ‘Soundcloud.’ During his early days, Comethazine was influenced by rappers such as Big Mike, Chief Keef, and Jim Jones. Initially, Comethazine focused on the quality of his lyrics. However, his songs gradually turned into party starters. His music has been often referred to as anti-melody, a derivative form of trap that uses bass as the source of melody, instead of traditional musical instruments. His debut EP, ‘Aloe Vera,’ was loved by the audiences. His first full-length album, ‘Bawskee,’ was a success, too, with many of its tracks, such as ‘Bands,’ ‘Walk,’ and ‘Oowee,’ becoming viral hits. Comethazine has received criticism for the lack of originality in his music. He was also accused of copying other trap artists, such as Playboi Carti and Tay-K. His latest album, ‘Bawskee 2,’ has been perceived as his best work. Songs from this album, such as ‘ONMYGRANNYKIDS,’ have become highly popular.
