Curtis Stone is an Australian celebrity chef, an author, entrepreneur, and a TV personality. He is known for his work in TV shows, such as ‘America’s Next Great Restaurant’ and ‘Around the World in 80 Plates’. Born in Melbourne, Australia, he began learning cooking from his grandmother at the age of four. He grew up to become a chef and worked at some of the top restaurants in Australia, and later, in London. His first cooking show was ‘Surfing the Menu’, with chef Ben O'Donoghue. The show featured the duo travelling around Australia, meeting new people and cooking. He started the cooking show ‘Take Home Chef’ in the US, which gained him popularity in the country. The show was a huge success and led to an exclusive deal with NBC. He has authored several books in his career so far. They include ‘Relaxed Cooking with Curtis Stone: Recipes to Put You in My Favorite Mood’ and ‘Surfing the Menu: Two Chefs’. He has also been named by ‘People Magazine’ as one of the Sexiest Men Alive.
