Dalton Rapattoni is an American singer-songwriter who gained fame for being part of the band IM5 and finished third in the final season of ‘American Idol’. He had an early beginning to his music journey, after being gifted guitar lessons by his grandmother. Diagnosed with the debilitating bipolar disorder, music worked as a therapeutic outlet for him. His participation in ‘American Idol: The Farewell Season’ made him a household name and it was clear that the young singer had a bright future ahead of him. Rapattoni is not only an accomplished singer but is trained in playing guitar, drums, bass, and piano. ‘Heaven’ and ‘Turn To Stone’ are two of his most popular songs and have thousands of views on YouTube. Dalton is also a vocal advocate for social causes like raising awareness of bipolar disorder, suicide prevention, and mental health. This is why his legion of fans are known as ‘nobodies’—the ones who are ignored. They are named after his mother’s favorite poem ‘I’m Nobody’ by Emily Dickinson.
