Dan Bakkedahl is an American actor and improvisational (“improv”) comedian from Chicago's “improv” theater troupe ‘Second City.’ He is best recognized for his roles of ‘Steve Nugent’ in the comedy–drama ‘Legit,’ ‘Congressman Roger Furlong’ in ‘HBO’s ‘Veep,’ and ‘Tim Hughes’ in the sitcom ‘Life in Pieces.’ Born in Rochester, Minnesota, Bakkedahl grew up with his six brothers and sisters. He attended the ‘Martin County High School’ and then studied at ‘St. Cloud State University.’ After graduating from ‘Florida State University,’ he began his career as part of theater groups and eventually earned TV roles. Since then, the actor has garnered immense success in his career of 14 years. He continues to entertain people with his unbeatable comedic and acting skills. A father of two, he is married to his long-time girlfriend, Irene.
