Daniel Hardcastle started out on YouTube with Minecraft webcomics. These comics were composed of Minecraft game screenshots with self-designed characters. The comic series was never completed but is still available for download from Hardcastle’s official website.

On March 20, 2011, the gamer launched his gaming channel ‘OfficialNerdCubed’ and started to post gameplay content on it. Soon after, he was sponsored by Machinima to develop a series titled "13 Ways to Die". The series became successful and this eventually earned Hardcastle and his channel more fame.

In March 2012, he launched his channel OfficiallyNerdCubed. This channel was created with the aim of publishing toy videos and general vlogs. From fascinating games to toy unboxings and reviews, the channel has everything for toy lovers. It has also got fun vlogs that are worth a watch.

In January 2013, Hardcastle began a partnership with fellow YouTuber Martyn, for a Minecraft game series called InTheLittleCubed. This later evolved into a challenge series titled Little Vs Cubed and then went on to become a new series called Little And Cubed.

On November 30, 2017, Hardcastle launched a personal channel titled OfficialNerdCubedLive with the aim of publishing Nerd³ Twitch livestreams.

Talking about the YouTuber’s popularity, his main channel has earned over 2.6 million subscribers and over 1.2 billion views till date (as of September 2018). His secondary channel OfficiallyNerdCubed has earned over 437k subscribers. Hardcastle’s third channel OfficialNerdCubedLive has more than 72k subscribers on it.

Daniel Hardcastle was born on March 23, 1989 in England to Andreina and Steve Hardcastle. His father is a famous YouTuber who runs a channel called officialdadcubed. His sister Hannah is also a social media personality who is famous as Banana³ (BananaCubed). Hardcastle used to work at a kid’s camp every summer.

Hardcastle has been married to YouTuber Rebecca Maughan since 2016. His favorite foods are pizza and pasta. He is an avid fan of Disney’s ‘Frozen.’
