Daniela Nieves Biography

Daniela Nieves, also known as 'Dani' on social media, is Venezuelan-American actress best known for portraying the role of Andrea 'Andi' Futura Doctora Cruz on the American telenovela-formatted teen sitcom 'Every Witch Way' and its spin-off series 'WITS Academy' on Nickelodeon. While she had a main role in the original series, playing the best friend of the lead character Emma Alonso, the spin-off series puts her in the lead, showing her becoming a Guardian while training at the Magic Realm's most esteemed school for witches and wizards-in-training, the WITS Academy. Nieves began her career as a child actress in Spanish-language telenovelas, which included a guest role in 'La viuda de Blanco' (2006), a major role in 'El Rostro de Analía' (2008-09), and couple more guest appearances in 'Una Maid en Manhattan' (2011) and 'Mi corazón es tuyo' (2014). She has also reprised the role of Andi Cruz in the telefilm 'Every Witch Way: Spellbound' (2014) and the crossover episode 'Every Witch Lola's' from another Nickelodeon sitcom, 'Talia in the Kitchen' (2015). In 2018, she had a guest role as Charlotte on the action-crime drama TV series 'Lethal Weapon' and is currently appearing in the recurring role of Ananda in the teen drama web series 'Five Points' on Facebook Watch.
