He appeared in a small role in ‘Pandemic’ (2009), a movie directed by his father. He was only 12 at the time. He assisted his father on the sets of his movie ‘Tommy’s Honour’ in 2016. He also worked with Trent Culkin in a music video for ‘Twenty One Pilots: My Blood,’ in 2018. However, he has not made any more appearances on the big screen yet. Dashiell’s parents, Jason Connery and Mia Sara, met on the sets of ‘Bullet to Beijing’ in 1995. They got married in March 1996. Dashiell, their only child, was born a year later, in June 1997. In 2008, young Dashiell was caught in the middle of a media controversy, allegedly caused by a statement given by his grandmother and Sir Sean Connery’s first wife, Diane Cilento, implying a family feud between Sean Connery and Jason. ‘The Sunday Times’ published the statement in July 2008. After the newspaper accused Sean Connery of depriving Jason of his inheritance, young Dashiell and his father came out in support of his grandfather, denouncing the allegations as false. Sir Sean Connery gave a statement in the media, stating that all the mud-slinging was due to his political affiliations and that the accusations were absolutely baseless.
