Draco Dez initially began by posting content on Instagram. She posted her first hair video on the platform in November 2018. The video became popular and she continued to posts weekly hair videos. Six months later, in April 2019, she debuted on TikTok and began sharing tips for hair growth together with her new hairstyles to try out. A month later, her video about struggles related to curly hair went viral. Her TikTok account, @destineewrayy, currently is followed by over 3.1 million fans. One of her most popular videos, which has earned millions of likes, is titled This is cute. She also shares short modeling clips, comedy videos as well as lip sync and dance videos on her account. In September 2019, she uploaded a duet video in collaboration with another TikTok star Kayli Cocio.

Her Instagram account, @destineewray, currently has more than 135K followers. Here, apart from hair, beauty and fashion content, she also posts photos and video from her track competition events.

Draco Dez joined the You Tube community in December 2015 and the oldest video on her channel Draco Dez is from December 2018. It is titled How I Do My Edges || Dracodez. Here she uploads skincare routine, haircare tutorials, Q&A and reaction videos for her audience. The most popular video of her channel is Reacting To Curly Hair Tiktok Videos... Well This Is Embarrassing which has over 1.5 million views. The channel has a subscriber base of more than 157K.

Through her social media accounts, she has got an opportunity to work with various brands like hair brands Hairfinity and Aussie as well as makeup brand Nyx and cosmetics and beauty retail brand Sephora. She has also appeared on the Canadian television programme eTalk (in a segment about TikTok).

Draco Dez’s actual name is Destinee Wray and she was born on 27 December 2003. in Toronto, Canada. She has an older brother. She is also a track star and has competed in 100m and 200m events. Her social media name is a combination of her track field nickname Draco and her own name Destinee (Dez).
