Drew Gooden made his first You Tube video in 2006 at the age of 13; however, this did not become a regular feature. Later in 2013, he joined Vine, the social networking and short (six seconds) video sharing platform. His first video on Vine was If you’re serious about mayonnaise; however, the video that really made him popular was the one wherein he reads a sign stating Road Work Ahead and responds to it saying Uh, yeah, I sure hope it does. In 2016, he appeared in the Vine short film Camp Unplug and won a nomination in the Streamy Awards in the Best Ensemble Cast in a Web Series category. By the time Vine closed down, he had over 400K followers on the platform.

Thereafter, he shifted his focus to You Tube and started making videos from scratch. He gained a 100K subscribers in just a couple of weeks and today his channel – Drew Gooden – has a massive subscriber count of over 3.12 million. On You Tube, he uploads humourous and insightful commentary and reaction-based videos that revolve around topics like other You Tube videos, television shows, movies, social trends, celebrities etc.

His most popular video on the channel is The World's Hardest Flexer (with Danny Gonzalez) which already has over 13 million views. Amongst his other most viewed videos are I Think I Found The Weirdest Christmas Movie (over 10 million) and Jake Paul's Beautiful Disaster of a Live Show (over 9 million). His channel has a paid sponsorship deal with different brands including Hello Fresh, Squarespace, Rhinoshield and Current. Usually, his videos start or end with a short segment about the brand sponsoring him.

In 2019, Drew Gooden, along with fellow YouTubers and comedians Kurtis Conner and Danny Gonzalez, went on a stage tour called We Are Two Different People Tour. Gooden and Gonzalez are frequently teased for being similar/same person – both in terms of their You Tube content and personal lives; hence the apt title of the stage shows tour. During the time, the duo also released their debut single We Are Not the Same Person.

His fans are officially called Little Stinkers. This began after the huge response he got on one of his videos wherein he asked the viewers who did not brush their tongues to comment I'm a Little Stinker.

Apart from YouTube, he is also active on other social media platforms and has more than 700K followers on Twitter and 560K followers on Instagram.

In future, Drew Gooden wishes to foray into more traditional form of media and write as well as direct a show.

Drew Gooden was born on 26 October 1993 in Orlando, Florida, United States to Chris and Beth Gooden. His siblings include a brother Jake and sister Kasey. Growing up, he played baseball in the little league.

He is married to photographer Amanda Murphy. The two got to know each other first after the latter commented on one of his Vine videos in 2015. The following year, they got engaged and in March 2019, got married.
