Eboni Nichols Biography

Eboni Nichols was born in the United States in 1978. She was raised in Eagle, Ada County, Idaho. Eboni started dancing at the age of eight, when she was enrolled at the ‘Bre Dance Studio’ in California. After her high school education from ‘Valley View High School’ in Moreno Valley, Eboni enrolled herself at the ‘Chapman University’ in Orange, California. She passed out from college with a ‘Bachelor in Fine Arts’ (BFA) degree in Theatre & Dance. Since Nichols was passionate about dance she decided to pursue a career in the field of entertainment. Soon after her graduation, she became part of the famous cheerleading group, ‘Los Angeles Laker Girls.’ This helped Eboni Nichols start her career as a dancer.

After gaining enough experience by her association with ‘Los Angeles Laker Girls,’ Eboni Nichols started touring with various dance troupes. She eventually landed opportunities to join hands with artists like Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Aaliyah, Will Smith, and Mary J. Blige among many other famous personalities. Nichols received her big breakthrough when she was roped in to choreograph for commercials and television shows.

In her illustrious career as a choreographer, Nichols has worked for several brands, such as Apple, Toyota, McDonald's, Burger King, Farmers Insurance Group, Walgreens, Svedka, etc.

Her choreography has also been featured in a number of television shows like ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,’ ‘The Today Show,’ ‘Good Morning America,’ ‘American Idol,’ ‘American Music Awards,’ ‘Jane the Virgin,’ ‘Fresh off the Boat,’ etc.

Eboni Nichols is currently one of the most sought after choreographers, not just for television shows but also for feature films. Her filmography includes ‘Girls Trip,’ ‘Office Christmas Party,’ ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,’ ‘Night School,’ ‘Dreamgirls,’ ‘Blades of Glory,’ and ‘Jack and Jill.’ Thanks to her fame and reputation, she was elected to be a part of the Television Academy’s Board of Governors. She is currently serving as the Co-Governor of the Academy’s ‘Choreography Peer Group.’ As of now, Eboni is being represented by ‘Bloc Talent Agency, Inc.’

Although Eboni Nichols is yet to confirm her sexuality, she has been spotted with the popular musician and actress Queen Latifah on a number of occasions. Latifah and Nichols started hanging out in 2009, when they met on the sets of ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ In 2014, Nichols and Latifah were seen kissing on a beach in Sardinia. They were then spotted vacationing together in places like Brazil. In 2018, Queen Latifah revealed in one of her interviews that she is ready to start a family. Subsequently, pictures of Nichols sporting her baby bump surfaced on the internet, leading to speculations that Latifah and Nichols are expecting their first child together. Eboni Nichols spends her free time by mentoring aspiring dancers. She currently lives in California, along with her partner, Queen Latifah.
