Elle Evans was born Lindsey Gayle Evans, on December 9, 1989, in Paris, Texas, US. She was raised in Blanchard, Louisiana. She attended the ‘Northwood High School’ and then majored in broadcast journalism from the ‘Northwestern State University.’
She won the ‘Miss Louisiana Teen USA’ competition in 2008 and then represented the state in the ‘Miss Teen USA’ pageant held on August 16 that year. Stevi Perry from Arkansas won the title, while Elle finished as the third runner-up. Eleven months later, Elle and her three friends got involved in an incident at a restaurant. She was arrested for not paying the restaurant bill and carrying marijuana in her purse. The much publicized arrest led Elle to lose her ‘Miss Louisiana Teen USA’ title.

Career
Elle received an offer to feature as a centerfold of the American men's lifestyle and entertainment magazine ‘Playboy.’ Following this, she became the ‘Playmate of the Month’ in October 2009, when she was just 19 years old. The diva used her full legal name, “Lindsey Gayle Evans,” for the shoot. The shoot was done by American professional photographer Stephen Wayda.
She is managed by ‘Elite Model Management,’ ‘Wilhelmina Models,’ and ‘Rogers and Cowan.’ She earned her first commercial in 2010. Cast by ‘MMG,’ Elle had to travel to China for the shoot. The ad featured her styled like Marilyn Monroe and was aired across Shanghai.
One of her most notable works was her appearance in the March 20, 2013-released music video of the track ‘Blurred Lines’ by American singer-songwriter and record producer Robin Thicke and featuring Pharrell Williams. Two versions of the track’s music video were released, one that featured Elle topless along with models Emily Ratajkowski and Jessi M'Bengue and another one that was a censored version sans the nudity.
Although ‘YouTube’ had removed the uncensored version of the music video of ‘Blurred Lines’ from its site on March 30, 2013, the site restored it with an age restriction on July 12 that year. The unrated version of the music video is also available on ‘Vevo.’ To date, the official music video of the song has garnered over 613 million views on ‘YouTube.’
Following this, she appeared in two music videos of American singer, songwriter, and actor Beyoncé, titled ‘Haunted’ and ‘Superpower,’ directed in 2013 by Jonas Akerlund. The same year, she featured in the national ad campaign of ‘Kmart,’ titled ‘Money Can't Buy Style.’ She was also part of the ‘AXE Apollo Cologne’ ad that was broadcast at the ‘MTV Movie Awards’ that year.
She posed nude for ‘Samuel Bayer’ for his exhibition ‘Diptychs & Triptychs,’ held during March and April 2013 at the ‘ACE Gallery’ in Beverly Hills. The exhibition included an array of 6-foot high black-and-white diptychs and 12-foot high triptychs that aimed "to capture beauty in its most vulnerable state.” The ‘Photo Annual Issue’ of ‘Relapse’ magazine featured her in its 2013 and 2014 issues. She is also a face of ‘NYX’ cosmetics.
She has guest-starred as ‘Cheyenne’ in the February 6, 2014-aired episode of the popular American sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men.’ The same month, she posed for the cover of the men's lifestyle magazine ‘FHM’ in its French edition. In September that year, she appeared in the ‘Golden Girl’ spread of the international men's magazine ‘Maxim.’ Her whole body was painted gold for the spread that celebrated the 50th anniversary of the blockbuster hit 1964 ‘James Bond’ film ‘Goldfinger.’
In 2014, she also featured in the ‘Steal the Look’ commercial of ‘Wet 'n Wild’ cosmetics. The shoot was directed by David La Chapelle. The same year, during the premiere of the 13th season of the American reality TV series ‘Project Runway,’ which appeared on ‘Lifetime,’ two national commercials of ‘Mary Kay’ cosmetics featuring Elle were aired.
The June 2015-released and Sing J Lee-directed music video of the track ‘Mercy’ from ‘Drones,’ the seventh studio album of English rock band ‘Muse,’ featured Elle. She was also featured in the September 28, 2015-aired commercial of American fast-food restaurant chain ‘Carl's Jr.’s new ‘Tex Mex Bacon-Thickburger.’ The ad featured Elle styled in a patriotic bikini and as part of the ladies’ ‘Team USA.’ The team was shown facing ‘Team Mexico’ in a volleyball game that would determine whether the new burger was ‘More Tex, or more Mex.’
She played the role of ‘Amber’ in the Christopher Landon-directed zombie comedy ‘Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse.’ It was released by ‘Paramount Pictures’ on October 30, 2015.
Elle essayed the character of ‘Star’ in the Anna Biller-directed comedy–horror film ‘The Love Witch.’ The film premiered at the ‘International Film Festival Rotterdam’ on January 31, 2016, and had a limited release in the US on November 11 that year. It received positive reviews from critics.

Elle was in a relationship with Canadian electronic music producer, DJ, and musician Deadmau5 for a year in 2010.
In February 2015, she began dating English singer, musician, and songwriter Matt Bellamy, best recognized as the lead singer, main songwriter, guitarist, and pianist of the English rock band ‘Muse.’ The two announced their engagement in December 2017 and got married on August 10, 2019. Elle has a stepson named Bingham Hawn "Bing" Bellamy, born through Matt’s previous relationship with American actor Kate Hudson.
