Elliot Tebele Bio

Elliot Tebele dropped out from college and began by working for his brother’s wholesale electronics company in Little Ferry, New Jersey. During this time, he also started posting on Tumblr and thereafter made his debut on Instagram in 2011. Here, he became known for his meme-focused content. His account is a massive success with over 16 million fans that include popular celebrities like Madonna, Kim Kardashian and Joe Jonas.

The success has got him featured in publications like Cosmopolitan and Business Insider. In 2015, he co-founded the social media marketing agency Jerry Media together with JamesRyan Ohliger and Mick Purzycki. The media company was involved in the promotions of the failed luxury music festival Fyre Festival. Later, the company co-produced the 2019 Netflix documentary titled Fyre which revolved around the music festival.

As a producer, he worked on the 2017 movie Frat Star as well. In this movie, he also worked as an actor. His other project as an actor was the 2016 film Cheerleader.

He is also the co-founder of one of Amazon’s bestselling games What Do You Meme as well as the tequila company, JAJA Tequila.

Elliot Tebele has been publicly criticized for using other people’s content without taking their permission or giving them due credit and compensation. In 2019, he announced that he would not post other people’s work without getting their consent and without crediting them.

Elliot Tebele was born on 22 February 1991 in a Syrian Orthodox Jewish family and grew up together with his four siblings in Gravesend, Brooklyn. For his education, he went to York Preparatory School in Manhattan and thereafter joined Hunter College in New York City. He dropped out in second year.

In 2015, he married popular Instagram star, Jessica Anteby. They have a daughter named Colette.
