Emily Jendrisak Biography

Emily was born to Jerry and Christine Jendrisak in 1974. Her exact date of birth is not known yet. Her father, Jerry, was a construction worker. Her mother, Christine, was an active Native American rights advocate. After graduating high school, Emily attended 'San Francisco University' and earned an honors degree in communications and journalism. After college, Emily moved to New York City, where she began her career as a publicist.

Emily’s parents are incredibly supportive and have encouraged her in every sphere of life. The encouragement has made her bold and expressive and has also helped her in becoming a prolific writer and storyteller. Growing up, Emily showcased her talent in several literary competitions. She has also won many state awards for her literary work.

Emily began her career as a publicist in New York. While she pursued her career as a writer, Emily did a few low-paying jobs. Over the years, she gathered expertise in her domain. After working several low-paying jobs, Emily eventually managed to shape a successful career. Emily continued to work as a publicist and a consultant in Manhattan, New York, till she married Gavin McInnes.

Additionally, she helped her mother, who worked for the rights of the 'Ho-Chunk' tribe. Emily is emotionally attached to the 'Ho-Chunk' tribe, as her mother originally belongs to the tribe. The ‘Ho-Chunk’ people are traditionally known as the 'Hoocąągra' or the 'Winnebago.' The tribe originates from the Siouan family, a native group from the regions that are presently known as Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois. The 'Ho-Chunk' tribe has been in a legal battle with the US government over the possession of land for several years. Emily’s mother, Christine, is the director of Wisconsin’s research committee on the 'Ho-Chunk’ tribe and has been supporting the tribe for over 3 decades now. Working with her mother to save the tribe’s culture and its language, Emily eventually learned the Siouan language. Emily often speaks in the Siouan language with her mother.

Emily is married to Gavin McInnes, co-founder and editor of the magazine 'Vice.' Also known as “The Godfather of Hipsterdom,” Gavin has also co-founded the advertising agency 'Rooster' and the website 'StreetCarnage.com.'

Emily and Gavin met for the first time at the 'Max Fish Bar' in the Lower East Side neighborhood of New York City. They began dating each shortly after their first meet and exchanged their wedding vows on September 17, 2005. The wedding took place at the 'Sunset View Farms' in Bovina, New York, and was solemnized by Edgar Burns Crutchfield III. Emily and Gavin are blessed with three adorable children. The names of the children are yet to be revealed to the public. The family now lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Emily is currently a stay-at-home mother. She quit her job to raise her children. However, she still works with her mother for the 'Ho-Chunk' tribe. In her spare time, Emily brushes up her writing skills.
